there is a lack of good record shops in Florence - in most of Italy in fact.
In Piazza Mercato Centrale you'll find Disco Mastelloni which sells a lot of dance records with DJ equipment. Via al Prato there's a great little record shop with a good range - Mix DJ, I think its called. Super Records, Via dei Neri for a massive selection of vinyl - an excellent shop, worth going just for a look.
